Alinjeel Lehaza Aljeel (ALA) is a dynamic, Bible-based curriculum created specifically for schools to empower educators in shaping the hearts and minds of children and youth with biblical truth. Built from the ground up, ALA combines academic excellence with practical ease of use, offering lessons that are simple to implement yet deeply transformative—both intellectually and spiritually.
Covering grades 1 through 11, Alinjeel Lehaza Aljeel offers a comprehensive approach to Christian education. Teachers are supported with a full range of resources, including teacher manuals, scope and sequence guides, PowerPoint presentations, and other tools that simplify lesson planning and classroom delivery.
Created from a non-denominational perspective, Alinjeel Lehaza Aljeel connects biblical truth with real-life issues children and teens face today. With engaging, age-appropriate lessons, it reaches the hearts and minds of students across all learning stages—from primary to high school.
Project Inception
"For five years, I taught Christian education at a private school and struggled to find a curriculum that met the needs of modern students. The available materials were imported and outdated, failing to address the challenges and global interconnectedness of today’s youth. They needed a curriculum that could make Christ’s ancient teachings relevant for their lives today.
This led me to create my own Christian education curriculum, which I named "The Gospel for This Generation." It began with lessons from various sources, especially the Syrian curriculum, and has since grown significantly.
The curriculum’s main goal is to prepare students for the future by fostering spiritual growth, teaching Biblical doctrines, and addressing the psychological and social aspects of their lives." Shereen K. Ayyoub, 2005
Curriculum Philosophy
This curriculum is designed to engage all four types of learners—analytical, collaborative, hands-on, and dynamic—by prioritizing discussion and active participation.
Based on the Holy Bible, these lessons are inclusive of diverse Christian denominations in the Arab region. The curriculum is neutral, promoting love, respect, and appreciation for all, without criticizing any church's beliefs.
We believe this is the first Arabic curriculum developed by an Arab educator with direct experience in Christian school education. Its core aim is to help Christian students understand Biblical truths and the life of Jesus Christ, ultimately inspiring them to love God and emulate Christ.
The curriculum includes both a student textbook and a teacher's guide. The guide offers answers, teaching ideas, an annual plan, scope and sequence details, objectives, and lesson plans, ensuring a structured and clear teaching experience.
